Strange question, who pays for the mobile data for the BYD seal excellence in the UK I've had no option to pay for it yet I would like more than the 1 GB provided for Spotify Or is this a non issue if tethering from a phone?
I think it's only 1GB no options to change. If you hotspot from your phone then it will use your phones data

No option to increase it, newer models come with 2GB but they're not making that available to older models
Just use apple carplay or android auto, uses your phone data. If you want to use the native functions then hot-spot your mobile device. Most will allow you to set it so tethering automatically switches on when it detects your cars wifi signal and switches off to conserve battery when out of range of the cars wifi.
I'm not sure that's true, the dolphin surf I got a few weeks ago still has 1GB, it might just be a regional thing.
Data is "pre-paid" by BYD. You can not extend the data volume. If you need more data, use the hot-spot of your cellphone
Yeah I got Seal excellence last month. 1GB data. Not sure where this guy got info from
