Hi, so when it a hot day, like 30+ degrees C, the passenger seat weight sensor goes off, like there's a phantom person sitting on it. Any idea how to turn it off? Byd seal

I have heard of a few people needing to get their passenger seat occupancy sensor replaced, but never seen anyone mention a correlation with heat. Might just have to get the dealer to swap it for you as a stop gap you can just put the seatbelt on.

Had the exact same issue. BYD mechanics changed the pillow of the passenger seat that also holds the sensor that causes the issue. Took about 2-3 hours and was covered under warranty.
