Have they not been here this whole time? Are you just now being available in Canada?!?

techtimee 2024-11-02 03:44

For sale, yes, just recently

TechnicalEntry 2024-11-02 03:45

I’ve seen them on the road in the GTA for a while now.

What province/city is this in?

SquanchySnoo 2024-11-02 04:08

Wow! Better late then never. Enjoy 🍻

DTMFtones 2024-11-02 04:10

Looks like the Kitchener, ON service center.

It has grown on me so much, particularly seeing it in person. I think when I need a second car this will be it.

Termsandconditionsch 2024-11-02 04:36

Nice. But annoying how the second one from the back is slightly higher up than the others.

Whoop_Rhettly 2024-11-02 04:52

Meh

Aryan_exe 2024-11-02 04:53

Yep!

Aryan_exe 2024-11-02 04:53

lol yea just noticed

Aryan_exe 2024-11-02 04:53

Seen them while working in the Bay Area, first time seeing them back home!

DTMFtones 2024-11-02 04:54

I only know this because my New (to me) Model S was sitting there for like a month waiting for a new battery pack to be installed. Lol

Aryan_exe 2024-11-02 04:56

Yea I’m not gonna lie, great team here but they are super slow. Any major work I go to Oakville service center they have never let me down, recently changed out both of my upper control arms super quick

I was bringing it home to Ottawa from a used car dealer and stopped for a phone charger at Best Buy in Waterloo. Car was completely dead when I came out, high voltage system failure. Was only 6 weeks from being out of warranty so I lucked out.

Aryan_exe 2024-11-02 05:00

Holy shit that’s so lucky, hope you get the car soon to enjoy they are pretty fun

Just got dropped off at my house on Tuesday actually. We had a RWD Model 3 before and the P90D is insane in comparison even being 8 years old. I had to have it once my husband decided our Rivian was his daily driver.

Do they have a Cybertruck inside the SC for people to sit in/look at? I know this is the Kitchener SC.

tm52929 2024-11-02 05:55

Wide angle lens stretching the pic?

woolh 2024-11-02 05:55

US plates though. There were only 3 Cybertruck registrations in Canada through September YTD.

Termsandconditionsch 2024-11-02 06:05

Don’t think so, the one at the end is aligned with the rest. More likely that particular spot it’s parked in is uneven.

crujones43 2024-11-02 06:09

God I hope they can get the price down a bit now that they are profitable. I want one and I'm a day 1 reservation holder but I can't justify the 6 figure sticker price.

lostcartographer 2024-11-02 06:51

This is incorrect. You can see that the one parked facing more toward the camera, which is farther away from the lower one, is the same height as the others. Cybertrucks have adjustable suspension. Edit: lmao upon even closer inspection they are all at different heights.

I had one pass me in Ottawa two mondays ago on the road. No front plate and couldn't see the back one if it was from Quebec or maybe an Amercian just driving through. Was very surprised. Can't wait to see more.

[deleted] 2024-11-02 12:32

Awesome I need one so bad 😭😭😭

VirtualLife76 2024-11-02 13:25

Where? I don't see any less than a couple % less.

TechnicalEntry 2024-11-02 13:27

Good question. Didn’t check for that.

Aryan_exe 2024-11-02 13:48

Not that I saw but I assume they will soon

stuputtu 2024-11-02 13:49

I just looked up in DFW area. There is not a single one in used market which is marked down by more than few % points. Can you please provide a link for 50% off listing? I would love to buy it.

Shaan_Don 2024-11-02 14:01

I was going to Chicago from Detroit 2 days ago and saw like three trucks fully loaded with cybertrucks going the opposite way. Maybe those were the same ones lol

aBetterAlmore 2024-11-02 14:53

Why so surprised by this availability delay in Canada? It happens with a lot of products

[deleted] 2024-11-02 15:36

Yeah I keep seeing folks online take a loss, but when I look up used cybertrucks they are holding their value

JerryLeeDog 2024-11-02 15:49

You’re not looking at Cybertrucks then They are not anywhere near that price yet

JerryLeeDog 2024-11-02 15:51

Love how ignorantly butthurt this truck still makes people a full year in now Outselling all EV trucks combined at this clip and that was with the $20k markup

reddit-frog-1 2024-11-02 16:39

Let's have a poll on how many weeks before price drops. I say 8 weeks.

Dizzy-Decision19 2024-11-02 16:42

Tesla is offering 0% in UK, USA, China, UAE, etc. Canadian are paying some of the highest prices on upgrades and financing cost 5.36%. Not worth it.

SquanchySnoo 2024-11-02 18:29

I don't live in Canada so I'm not educated on product availability there.

I’m in Vancouver and I’ve seen a few around! Not sure if they are from here or travelling from the states?

allens3 2024-11-02 23:43

I seen one in markham a couple times back in July/Aug.

udonbeatsramen 2024-11-02 23:48

I was in Vancouver all of last week. It only just occurred to me that I didn’t see a single one the entire time I was there

New-Iron-9219 2024-11-03 02:45

Adjustable suspension

Gabers49 2024-11-03 03:01

Took this today in Toronto, Canada https://imgur.com/a/jmGInBK

[deleted] 2024-11-03 04:06

I don't think a single CT has sold for nearly 50% off of its original price yet.

edit_why_downvotes 2024-11-03 05:08

Not on Cybertruck.

Fickle_Comfortable78 2024-11-03 05:11

Test drove this truck, I’ll keep my ram for long trot towing and camping but every other use will be this truck. It’s just so damn fun, like a street legal F-22.

Do you mean to the non foundation price? Or something else?

_log0ut_ 2024-11-03 18:17

Nice

reddit-frog-1 2024-11-03 20:36

So at the current production rate, Tesla doesn't have enough buyers at $80k+ price. So a price drop or production halt is forthcoming.

shaggy99 2024-11-03 20:50

Possibly in the US. I understood they were selling Foundation series in Canada.

reddit-frog-1 2024-11-03 20:52

Of course, with the current production rate, they can fill the Canadian latent demand in a couple of months. But afterwards, what other countries are they allowed to sell in?

shaggy99 2024-11-03 21:01

Don't know, don't care, and it doesn't matter. What matters is if they can sell what they make at a profit.

reddit-frog-1 2024-11-03 21:23

Haha. The Department of Government Efficiency will buy all the unsold Cybertrucks!

[deleted] 2024-11-04 03:01

They will have about a 12 mile range in the cold winter weather.

altoona_sprock 2024-11-06 13:57

What did Canada do to deserve this? ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|stuck_out_tongue)

Remarkable_Device357 2024-11-06 23:03

my god they are uglier in mass

tylerFROMmaine 2024-11-09 02:09

So sorry for your loss.

Lucky_Serve8002 2024-11-10 14:07

There are quite a few around Austin, TX. They are the butt of a lot of jokes. People pointing and laughing kind of stuff.

scoops22 2024-11-10 20:08

There was one at a Montreal showroom a few months ago when I visited. Edit: I went back and checked my pictures. May 31st is when I saw it.

Effective-Farmer-502 2024-11-13 04:35

Saw my first on this morning with BC plates.

LegenDaisy 2024-11-14 10:02

Mooman76 2024-11-15 08:28

Born-Entertainer1798 2024-11-23 01:48

$130k starting... ridiculous

prince_canada 2024-11-25 16:19

Anyone know how long if someone orders today until delivery in Canada? Has anyone been able to rent one yet, want to see how it fits in garage.

Imaginary_Car_7694 2024-12-03 10:00

That's a lot of dumpsters in 1 place!

Dry-Assistant7033 2024-12-27 22:02

I’m seeing two a day in Vancovuer

alittler 2025-01-08 12:42

So that’s the sources of the bomb threat in New West

Feisty_Resource7027 2025-03-17 16:22

Does anyone know who owns that ugly Cybertruck in WELLAND. It's been spotted driving around Fitch Street plaza
