Issues with android auto

So the past couple of days I've encountered an issue where I can't touch anything on my android auto. There mustn't be anything wrong with the screen in general though as I can still touch and move around the car's UI. Anyone else come across this and have a fix? Sometimes turning the car off and back on fixes it. But not always

Welcome to the club. Only way i solved this after reinstallation, clearing cache, updating app, etc was when I changed phones

This is an Android Auto issue. Have you updated your phone?

Had the car since August and been using the same phone the entire time. Glad to know I'm not alone with this issue though

Only just the security update for October at the beginning of the month. Just uninstalled the android auto app and redownload it though. So hopefully that fixes the issue 🤞🏼

Mines connected through Bluetooth. But I'll do the whole works. Retart the phone uninstall and reinstall android auto and see how I go

Only BT? Try if you use wired if still same issue. Overall probably Android Auto compatibility thing, since BYD update maybe BYD car Version to high for phone or phone version app.

Have this issue in my Mazda aswell. Went to move the map and would not cycle back to the reset view and just nothing happens. Spotify also would play but wouldn't show the album or buttons to change songs

Seems the be working again. I'm not sure if that's due to me restarting my phone, reinstalling android auto or turning the car on and off again 😅

Did you "power cycle reset" the infotainment system? In the BYD Seal it is by holding the volume wheel in the center console for 10 seconds.

And if that doesn't work find the aa apk of a few versions back and install that If that works then you know it's the app version causing issues
