Error on Digital Key

GrandAlfalfa5624 | 2025-11-23 11:07 | 24 views

I'm getting this error when trying to add a digital key on my Samsung S24 Ultra. Already tried to update all requires Google services, remove and reinstall the BYD app, but always get the same error. Any help?

You need to talk to Samsung. The required Google API wasn't implemented, there's nothing you can do, the phone manufacturer needs to work with Google to implement this API. Xiaomi just did a few weeks ago on the 15 Ultra with HyperOS 3.

And if you gonna ever need "a virtual key" without a physical key - use this method: 1. launch seat heating (haven't tried the ventilation option - it's winter here atm. :D) from the app 2. open the car by the app = car is on and you can drive.

Is this just an issue in some countries? As my S24 Ultra works fine with digital key.

Manufacturers have different versions by region or country. It's likely this is the reason.

Works fine on my S24 Ultra. Have you updated the Samsung Wallet app? It uses this for the digital key. Check the Galaxy Store. It was working on OneUI 7 for me. Now updated to OneUI 8

Read the error message. It has nothing to do with Samsung Wallet. The phone's OS doesn't support the API to manage and use digital keys. There's a Google Help Center about it and even the API documentation. There's no need to make stuff up.

Lol, why does it work on my phone of the same model? My phone made up an API? Cool!

Different countries, different regions, different software. Is this your very first Samsung? How about you try "the Google" for approximately minutes? If that's not too difficult, that is.

Don't need to. It works for me. Just trying to help. Things to try, either it works for it doesn't.

No, you're promoting homeopathy, quack medicine, voodoo. Trying to help means either: Providing a valid, tested solution, providing a potential solution based on experience, knowledge and probability or a possible workaround and a root cause. What you did is waste everyone's time by spreading complete and utter nonsense.

You're totally right. You can Google things, instead of posting on Reddit, where other people will Google things for you and invalidate some other peoples legitimate experiences with their tech.

calm the fuck down, both of you.

I was wondering if the missing API has anything to do with the firmware version. I flashed my phone to remove the TMobile firmware, replacing it with the unlocked generic one.
