Oh, that's weird. I actually saw a Cybertruck in Edmonton a few weeks ago - I was quite startled and entertained to see it unexpectedly in a parking lot near my home. I was even more entertained when I tried to take a photo of it and my phone crashed. Clearly an advanced security system at work.

That edmonton CT owner bought it used with a couple hundred miles from the US back in March. Paid well over $200k CAD. I was surprised to hear he wasn't a Tesla fan nor an EV person. He just liked the looks and wanted the gas savings on the truck that he puts a lot of KMs on for work. When I was talking to him, his kids were playing all over the top of the Cybertruck. On top of the frunk, windshield and roof. It was quite the sight lol.

No delivery date yet. Just got the vin last night.

I don’t think financing vs buying out right matters anymore as far as your spot in line goes

It's fine. I've done a couple of tests outside unplugged in -35C. I can't remember the number now, but it was only single digit percent loss.

A great question! Notice you haven't seen any more of those despite deliveries going from a thousand to tens of thousands? If someone else's metal flake lands on your Cybertruck, IT can rust. Think of it like a paint can rust ring on a driveway where someone left it out in the rain. The concrete didn't rust. Same thing. One of the Tesla higher ups made a post showing visible rust on a car with a vinyl wrap. The plastic is incapable of rusting. That's metal from someone else on the road. You can just clean it off.

Just got my VIN assigned as well. I opened the app after a couple of weeks so not sure when I got it assigned. I live in Toronto and I put a reservation deposit on the 3rd day of the announcement. If this helps with context of waiting for this damn thing to arrive. No delivery dates mentioned yet

Sadly.... Not yet. I know of 1 person confirmed for Nov 04 in the GTA so far
