Apple car play out of order

I bought my BYD Seal Excellence AWD a year ago and since yesterday Apple Car Play doesn’t work. Once I turn on the car. I may see that my iPhone is connected via Bluetooth and that is it. I can not turn an icon in order to use e.g. Google Maps, music etc. What shall I do? Service to be scheduled ?

Apple CarPlay uses wifi to connect wirelessly. Make sure your phones wifi is switched on.

Or just plug in via cable. I sometimes get the odd issue with Android Auto (especially if I've turned on a VPN on my phone) and plugging the cable fixes it.
