Hey BYD! ADAS Driver profiles please??

I recently heard leap motor has done similar similar and I think its genius. We (in the SL7) have a seat/driver profile. Can we take this one step further and have a profile that remembers ADAS and other system settings also? You would still be ncap/acap compliant as they can default to on, but its a single button (that ideally you can pin to the main display) to tune the car to how I like it? Thanks in advance!

It's only the speed warning alert that bothers me. in 2.0 they added it to the main screen, but added an extra click to confirm you want it off, now it's 3 clicks and all are really small buttons that you need to take your eyes off the road. Just let us put big widgets on the main screen, like in the pull down menu, that are one click and done. The main screen is just blank anyway I don't see the point. Could be good for other stuff like heated seats, climate etc. I hate having to navigate the screen while driving.

Sounds very nice, but unfortunately It's not possible to create ADAS profiles because the car wouldn't be compliant with EU laws, so couldn't be sold in Europe. ADAS should be active every time you start the car.

I understand this. What I'm suggesting is a profile has to be selected each time you enter the car. So they can default on... the profile just sets multiple off, rather than having to click through. It would still be compliant.

Just don't speed...

Yeah great, and what do you suggest for all the times it gets the speed limit wrong? 🤡

Drive a bit faster. Once you get around 15-20 over it stops shouting at you. Seriously though, I’ve found enabling the “intelligent” option (can’t recall the exact option, but it’s on the ADAS screen around traffic sign detection helped a lot. It then uses GPS data to supplement the camera detection.

They're deliberately set slightly lower on all cars I've tested.

That sounds good. While they are at it, they could add the side mirrors setting with the seat/driver profile. Though it might require a SL7 v2. 🫠

Adding a way to easily circumvent it, through a profile, circumvents the EU law. Because it's designed to be on, at every engine start. That being said, I suffer from this aswell, and it's only due to EU law.

The idea is they can default on, but rather than going in and turning multple ADAS settings off (or to your liking), you can do it with a single button on the home screen making it much more convenient. If you can turn them off individually, then this should not be an issue either.

Great feature request! And yes, it would be within EU regulations. Dacia has exactly this feature. A single button to have a personalized ADAS setup activated after the car is started.

Please can we have this! 🙏🏻 It's quite annoying having to put in the settings every time I'm going somewhere 😅
