OG Roadster owners experiences
Hey everyone, I wanted to see if there’s any original Tesla Roadster owners in here who wouldn’t mind sharing some of their experiences driving and owning the car, along with a picture of said car.

Has Tesla started producing the second generation roadster????
No, they’re going to supposedly re-announce it on April 1st.
You'd think, that after the Cybersucks failure. Tesla would prioritize a vehicle that people ACTUALLY want. And will pay for. (Me being one of them.)
I would have to think even less people would buy the roadster than the Cybertruck, simply because of the price, unless they bring it down significantly.
That's an argument that can be made of all EV manufacturers. They priced themselves out of the market. Simply because they wanted to sell to the highend consumer. Just look at Porsche.
Tesla isn’t like Porsche though, especially not anymore. When they announced the Roadster 2.0 back in 2017, Tesla was much more of a high end brand. Now, they are basically a mass-market manufacturer, who has obligations to deliver a supercar to customers from almost 10 years ago. It just doesn’t align with their current “ideology”, and they probably now wish they never even created that whole idea.
In Canada, a Model S, starts at about $140,000.00. Model 3, about $90,000.00. Model Y, about $60,000.00. And a Model X, about $150,000.00. From what I can see. They still want to be a "high end brand".
The base Model 3 and Y are both below the median vehicle sales price even in Canada. The Model Y Standard is $49k CAD. The median new car sale price in Canada is $66k CAD. I think the 3 has a weird tariff thing right now so that's not really reasonable to compare.
[Electric Cars, Solar & Clean Energy | Tesla Canada](https://www.tesla.com/en_ca) Tesla would beg to dissagree. Go look for yourself.
