2023 M3 Performance vs 2024 base

IAma10splayer | 2026-03-09 02:54 | 2 views

I’ve been looking to get into a model 3 as I am finally in a good financial position to do so. I’ve heard the 2024 improvements are great, but comparing prices right now I can find some 2023 performance 3’s for the same price if not cheaper than a 24 base. I’m looking to spend about 30k and keep payments under 500. I’d rather not lease. If the price is right should I consider the 23 for now then moving into a highland in a couple years? Any advice would help! I’ve looked and yes base to base obviously the 24 is better, but the difference in trim and mileage is pretty significant.

Probably HW3 vs HW4. Worth the money

Depends highly on how much you like to use FSD. I don’t think HW versions are very different. HW3 FSD is already extremely good in my experience but I still prefer to drive myself since I’m much faster at getting around town than FSD can. If you want performance, 23 M3P is the way to go. If you don’t care and really like using FSD, 24 base is the obvious choice.

You want to spend 30k and have a monthly under 500? What are you putting down, nothing? 🤯
