Interesting look. I’ve seen some Teslas in my area with them driving around. With gas prices on the rise, I can see why it’s important for some people to want to squeeze out every mile they can.

Ive seen a driver with those rims and a white model y. He thought they were cool and recommended them to me. Ugly wheels IMO.

It’s easier to find them for sale in black than white. I’ve seen some called HALODISC. Maybe he’s a rocket league fan and was into white zombas

It's less about savings and more about getting more range. EVs are so cheap to run so you won't save a lot of money with these wheels, especially not while driving in less than highway speeds. You benefit from these aero wheel caps during long drives because the effect is so much bigger at highway speeds. You get a lot more range, which could mean a faster charging stop, or in many situations, have one less charging stop. That's a pretty big deal.

These would be kind of cool if they were painted black with a white spiral. When the car is moving, it would look very unique.

Does anyone have range proof? Actual milage gain by these and on what size wheel? I’m really curious of real world. But not on someone going from 20s to 18s and these as we know 18s will help coming down from 20s. Some kind of back to back comparisons over stock or aftermarket wheels and adding the aero covers.

I've got a set on my model 3. Saves about 3-5% from the stock aeros on 18 inch wheels. Granted I'm only doing 100km of highway each day so it's a small saver. Are you on stock Tesla wheels? I have a M3P and will be swapping out to 18” staggered and putting the 20s in storage soon but curious to know if they work on standard rims or strictly Teslas

Them are HaloBlk discs. I just ordered mine for my Model 3. I got the black rainbow ones. I only got them for the way they look not for range but they do claim you get up to 10 miles of range from them. I don’t know if the 10 miles are true but I have seen feedback saying that people are getting 1-5 more miles of range with them

Afaik you have to have tesla rims. It lists all the rims they fit on. It has some locking mechanism that goes into where the axlenut is and then you screw it in. The reason it's probably only tesla rims is because it has two specific versions of the locking mechanism that you get given depending on the type of wheel you have.

I'm not saying it's entirely false, but 10%? There's no way. I actually have similar discs, but haven't done much testing. I reckon it's maybe around the 2% mark.

It could be as much as 10% on highways at 140 km/h or 85 mph, but definitely not at speeds half that.

I have the haloblk ones, definitely add some range. Normally my round trip to work takes me from 80 to like 37-40%, with the aerodiscs I get home like 45-46% now

in norway we are encouraged to do hard braking to clear rust and so on In Norway it is more strict when it comes to rules with mandatory roadworthyness and so on it dont matter if it is a ev or not enough rust and the car will fail 😅
