BYD Han will not charge WINTER ISSUE

My Byd Han will not allow me to charge, I do not hear the click of it hatching to the charger so I think it is frozen. Is there a way to heat the plugin or do I have to get a hold of a hairdryer and a long cable? This is a very annoying issue to have in Northern Norway when it is -20 and I have to stand there freezing my own nuts off
