Hi, me and my family are considering getting the BYD Tang DM-i. My question is, are BYD cars reliable and good for long-term use? Thanks.

Check out the Chery Tiggo 9 PHEV, its same size and has more tech features compared Tang and it is officially launched in GCC. Some of additional features include, self parking, Built in headrest speakers, better ADAS for cruise auto control. It also has the latest long range engine tech (similar to BYD DMI 5) and better battery tech by CATL (BYD's own battery tech is 1 or 2 gen behind CATL even though both are LFP) plus giving approx 1200KM WLTC range combined plus 600 HP + 920 NM torque and 35 KWH battery (150 km WLTC EV only range), plus longer warranty and free insurance and registration. Its better in every way in my opinion. Unfortunately I am looking for a bigger car, otherwise would have bought it
