Buying Used M3 Performance

I had a M3 SR+ in 2020 but went through a lease takeover after a year because of life circumstances I’m now in a place where I can afford a car again and I’m going with this used M3 Performance. What should I know about it? Things like HW3 or HW4, autopilot on this one or did they retrofit used cars to get rid of it, stuff like that

I would get HW4 if possible, the ability to have FSD 14 is worth it compared to HW3 and FSD 12.

Sorry, I should rephrase. I already purchased. I’m just wondering if it’s HW3 or HW4 I don’t think I have a choice

It's HW3. There's not a single model 3 pre-highland refresh that is HW4.

Good to know. What does the highland refresh entail?

2024 models and beyond. Mostly a face-lift to the front bumper and ventilated front seats just to name a few things. There's more if you want to do a more in depth dive.
