Finally updated to v2

Yep. Got the prompt this morning in my Dolphin too, Belgium. I want to play with the new system so bad, but I’m at work !

Anyone experiencing weak or no connectivity with the app after update? Saw a few complaining about it on the dolphin group on FB

Yeah same, played with it a bit on lunch, seems good so far. Reversing camera worked fine but i want to give it a week or two before passing judgement, as it didn't always do it before.

Anything new in v2 for dolphin?

Haven't had a massive chance to play with it but the UI is completely different, new apps in the app store, overall seems more responsive.

Spotify and amazon music stopped working after the update to 2.0

I've found the opposite, now i just say "hey byd play xyz song" and it just plays it via spotify, don't even need to specify "on spotify" like i do with google.

Don't know if I'm a fan of the new design let's see how it works while driving. I had to readjust all the buttons i lately rearranged

The SIM in my car is now stuck on 2G instead of 4G since the update

I got it for my Dolphin too today (Finland) and I already love it! Especially the ADAS has improved significantly: no more constant microsteering in highway or prompts to ”turn the steering wheel gently” when I’m already holding the wheel. And I love that I can finally speak Finnish to the voice assistant lol. Kinda weird though that the navigation is still locked to English when everything else is finally in Finnish. I know people are not happy with the unused space in the main UI, but I’m still happy that I can have more than 3 things at my fingertips, even if they only hover in the bottom lane. At least there’s an actual good looking wallpaper to look at now, so it’s not just a black screen with 3 gigantic buttons.

Do the speakers sound different for anyone else after the update?

Can you check if in your v2 version you can now choose maximum charge current from the menu? It’s in the energy settings. It’s been added to every single other BYD model (even the small Dolphin) but I don’t have it yet on mine.

I had that initially in Seal here in OZ but after the previous update it disappeared i think. We still dont have v2 here, apparently some new vehicles delivered with it.

Did any of you got downloading system updates notification before getting v2? Mine stops downloading after it finishes 11/17. Located in Turkey so update may be different for me. Dolphin design 2025

No, no notification but i'd say mine downloaded overnight

Yeah, found that on the UK website as I was searching too. Nothing for me in the website in Belgium either !
