Bad deal
What should I look for to make it a good deal???
I think hes fucking with you lmao looks fine to me
5 seaters are always cheaper, as long as that works for you. Somewhat heavy battery degradation on a 2024 model, and not low miles for 2024. This means you only have 20k miles of warranty left. It’s a lukewarm deal in my opinion.
You could get a brand new model y and have money in the bank
Terrible. Get one with low miles.
Low miles meaning less than 5k??? Or less than 15k?? Or 30k?
Less than 10k
That’s a bad deal. Bought mine 2024 MX, 6 seats, white on white, 40k mileage, 1 owner clean title for $55k about 4 months ago. You should look elsewhere. Tesla used inventory is always 5-10k more expensive than 3rd party dealerships.
But Tesla offers another 1 year warranty which is helpful and gives you some form of security.
The way I see it is I get to keep $12k that I might or might not need to use a year after the original warranty runs out. I also get to see the car in person and test drive it, which is something you can’t do with Tesla. It’s up to you if the extra 1 yr/ 12,000 miles worths the extra money though.
looks like that's about $15k too much - here's one with less miles for less money https://www.tesla.com/mx/order/7SAXCDE50PF375645?titleStatus=used&redirect=no#overview
Is there a way to tell if it’s hw3 or hw4?
If you use this website https://teslaroamer.com/inventory/new (you can filter by model, year and FSD computer) You can get a 2023 Model X with HW4 for less than this one. I bought a used 2023 Model X Plaid for 69k with 52k miles at Tesla. It came with HW4 and 22 inch wheels, white with white interior which was exactly what I was looking for. I bought it at Tesla specifically for the warranty which I already used to replace both front half shafts as well as the passenger front door panel which had the emergency door release slightly cracked. Even though the car had over 52k miles when I bought it, they allowed me to subscribe to the extended warranty which will kick in once my used vehicle warranty expires. That being said, if you do not care much about the warranty, buying one used outside of Tesla with less than 50k miles might be the way to go to save some money. Me personally I just do not like dealing with dealers or people.
Btw the website just tracks tesla inventory and it even shows you the price history. Tesla tends to lower the price daily if the car doesn’t sell.
here is the VIN decoder / production date - i don't know enough about model S/X to say if that is HW4 just by the date https://ev-inventory.com/car/US-7SAXCDE50PF375645
here is one that is HW4 and lower miles - https://ev-inventory.com/car/US-7SAXCDE57RF450876
They are asking for 67k for 40000 miles on it. Brand new for the new model with new updates it’s under 100. An equivalent old model would probably be under 90. You can buy the same model with 36000 miles less for 7k more. https://www.carvana.com/vehicle/4149274?refSource=srp
But it’s a model y tho 💩
40k miles is practically nothing at all, it’s fairly priced. For the lesser miles you’re paying a premium of $0.22 per mile for the privilege of lesser miles
Right. Can't even compare the two together. He'll be drivin the model Y and mad as hell. Lmao
But u payin for the warranty too. I'm sure that's why it's marked up.
wow the one I posted has dropped 2100 since I posted!!
4 months ago you still had the Tax credit
269 range is what I don't like, like you always need to charge it 80% or less and it will be like 34 miles less so 236 Miles, I will drive that in three days.
I bought in November. Tax credit ended in September.
No used on tesla website is a good deal
Holy crap since I posted this. Tesla lowered the price by 5k. Now at 62,400
