Tesla In-surance Cost for Cybertruck?

Hi, wondering what everyone's in-surance cost is for cybertruck. Ideally if anyone is in Chicago, Illinois, that would be super helpful!

You can literally call an insurance company and they will give you a quote. Just snag a vin from one online.

I'm looking specifically at Tesla Insurance directly

Again, you can literally get a quote directly from them

I would expect your premium to go up. I was paying 52 a month for a civic type r and when I went to a MYP it doubled

Tesla Insurance varies widely from person to person. It all depends on your location and your individual driving habits. At first, they will quote you a price with a safety score of 90. This rate is for the first two months while they gather data on your driving habits. After that, it could change month to month depending on driving habits and miles driven.

You literally cannot.  You need to already have a VIN assigned _to your order_ or own the car already.  Otherwise they will not give you a quote at all.  See past examples ([1](https://www.reddit.com/r/TeslaLounge/comments/1c2jrbx/tesla_insurance_quote_before_ordering/), [2](https://www.reddit.com/r/TeslaModelY/comments/1r62ys1/how_to_get_tesla_insurance_quote_before_purchasing/))

Get quotes from other insurance companies. Expect Tesla Insurance to be slightly cheaper or slightly more expensive than your lowest quote.

In-surance is different for everyone. No way you’ll get an accurate number by just asking. Pull quotes by vin or make and model and that’ll give you an idea. Also, it’s Insurance.

Idk since I didn’t try it but, maybe it was spelled that way to avoid the bot from automatically removing the post.

You can get a GENERAL idea, but it won't be exact, as insurance varies by: vehicle location age driving history credit score (sometimes)

this site would probably give you the best idea with ranges and i think states too at the bottom [https://caredge.com/tesla/cybertruck/insurance](https://caredge.com/tesla/cybertruck/insurance)
