Websites are heavier and heavier, requiring more resources. In addition, browsers need to deal with more sophisticated attacks by implementing countermeasures and more stricter sandboxing. This all demands unceasing amount of resources.

The older browser. My 2026 Model S browser has no issues. Neither did my 2024 Model 3’s browser.
