Had anyone seen this? It popped up on my nav yesterday.

Its a plus code address.

Thanks, but what does that mean?

It kinda works like gps coordinates. Not sure why it exists but im seeing it used more and more. Starlink for example requires it for when you pick where the dish will be. Its certainly shorter than gps coordinates which i like. On google maps, drop a pin and click the down arrow next to the address. This shows the gps coordinates and the plus code.

Just a short form hand of how Google Maps stores addresses. Search any place in Google Maps and you will get a plus code. https://preview.redd.it/61bduvdiogkg1.png?width=836&format=png&auto=webp&s=557ddd8cfc4f4e2e701612dc074d7ae6cff329a2

Nice garage door opener. 😃 I have the same one in the same location…

It’s very useful for setting parking locations. If I put my work address in it routes me to the wrong lot for me to park. So my work is set to the plus code for the spot I want in the parking lot.
