Clear Something Up

I am getting ready to join the Tesla family with a used MY4, but I was confused about something. When I test drove the car, FSD was not on the screens anywhere. I assume it is hidden when not subscribed for. Correct? Also, I hear that autopilot is going away. This car still had it. Are they removing it in the future or will older cars keep it? If/when autopilot goes away, do we still get a simple cruise control? Speed aware cruise? I keep reading that it is going away, but the 14th has come and gone and was wondering if it was disappearing from the cars.
