Voice assistant closing CarPlay

Hi all just collected my seal and tinkering with it. Is it normal or is there any way to stop the bud assistant from not closing CarPlay and returning to honescreen?

Hold the voice control button rather than press, at least that works for AndroidAuto.

Holding it brings up Siri I believe

Unfortunately not. However, Once you close the assistant (by short pressing the voice button) it will return to CarPlay
