I had a music caused rattle, turned out to be part of a broken clip. Pulled the door card off myself.
The only other one I have is in the rear, only occurs on one bridge, so hard to pin point and not frequent enough to be a bother.
Rattles are difficult to find, this is not just BYD that struggle with it.

Probably should just get rid of the Seal if you're so unhappy. It's such a quiet car its really easy to notice any minor rattle.

Can’t wait to rid ourselves of our ‘23 Seal Performance. Not only does it have random issues that sometimes resolve themselves, there’s a driveline vibration upon acceleration that they can’t seem to fix, or try to blame kerb rash for “buckled” wheels. Very minor kerb rash. You’d think the wheels could handle it with no major damage. But there’s a TSB for the vibration that they don’t care about. Worst customer service I’ve ever had in 30 years of driving and 45 odd cars. Absolutely horrible customer care. Will be our first and last Chinese piece of junk. The only plus to the car, odddly is not a rattle or squeak after 35k kms and the power. Other than that just cheap junk. Once our novated lease is up, back to BMW. Worst decision financially (the car is worth nothing) and in general. Being Yucky Daily is out term for BYD. Absolute shite. Never, ever again. I feel your pain. Hope you get the rattles sorted asap, but knowing BYD you may need to turn up the volume on the radio or open the windows as to not hear the rattles anymore.
PS first service booking available as of las month was mid December. Ridiculous.

Have had new BMWs every three years for the past 12 years and not one had a squeak or rattle. Even up to 60k kms. Not one. Granted our Seal Performance has zero as well. One of the only positive points to the piece of junk car.

I've had new Mazda's, Hyundai's and a Toyota with rattles. It's only been the BYD where the fix (I did) has been permanent.
How's the vibration battle going? (I stalked) I've got a similar one, initially it seemed to be front right which is now rear left. Went away when I rotated the wheels, came back after doing 140kph on a private road 🤐.
I've kerbed one wheel (rear right), going to chase up the vibration once I've worn these tyres out and replaced the wheels - if it's not the wheel, I suspect it's a driveshaft.

100% the driveshafts. It’s in the TSB for the cars but BYD doesn’t seem to get it here in Australia even with the TSB. Trying again mid Dec, hoping a different service centre will actually do the research and replace the driveshafts. It’s a distinct vibration only under heavy acceleration from 55-65 approx and above 115. Definitely a driveline issue. Had enough experience with cars to know it’s not “buckled” wheels. As it would be vibrating at all different speeds and during acceleration and even deceleration. But this is only a certain point which can’t be all three wheels in sync and deciding to cause a vibration at the very exact speed. Just a junk car tbh. Bad taste from service and niggling issues like this one. Had an issue where the climate control was unresponsive completely. Only blew one temp of air couldn’t adjust the fan or even turn it off. Resolved itself in a few days. Not worth the headache or depreciation. It’s gone in a year and a half thank God. Wouldn’t recommend one to anyone buying a vehicle. Supposed to be world leading, far from it. You get what you pay for. Which is junk.

I’d rather hold BYD accountable than just give up??

Did rebooting the screens sort out the AC? (five second press down on volume scroll wheel next to the shifter). I had this issue once on an earlier software version, not since the later updates though.
They're definitely not BMW standards, I'd expect a BMW equivalent to be close to double the price.
My previous car was a warm Hyundai, started chewing up the gearbox at 18k km. Finally replaced after 50k km, sold it straight away as it's a fairly typical issue I've since found out. Colleague is onto their third.
Certainly more common than this driveshaft problem. My symptoms basically match yours (Premium).

Has to be the rear motor driveshafts then as if it’s affecting yours as well. Def a defect. And no restarting the system did nothing to fix the AC issue at all. But have done a lot of rebooting. Only bought this car for the power and FBT exemption. Won’t make the same mistake twice. It’s a junk electric toaster. Should have gone with the i4 35, even down on power and self driving, but would have been a better, more solid choice.

Ive got a rattle on the passenger side of car, im wondering if its the seat belt too does it only do it when no one is sitting in the seat?

Yeah there’s a TSB about it but BYD wants to blame us for kerb rash on the wheels. Saying they “buckled” still fighting them on this. Is yours a Perf AWD? Assuming so as you mentioned front driveshafts.

Agreed. Not the cheapest car out there when we bought ours, was at $75k then. Not expensive by any means but none the less there’s a well known issue from owners with the same vibration and they are replacing drive shafts, but ours they said they want us to buy new wheels. Happy to do so if the vibration indeed went away, then it’s our fault. But if it didnt go away would they refund us the wheel cost? Don’t think so. So battling them again jn Dec when the first service booking was open. They so far have had extremely poor customer service. And I’m not the only one who has had issues with their service. Some peoole have had to bring their cars back 3-4 times for them to fix the driveshafts. Which I’ve been told by an owner fixed the vibration. If theres a TSB out on it, it’s a known issue, wish they would at least try and fix it before putting the burden on us. Another owner also had their wheels replaced under warranty as they were “buckled” as well with no kerb rash though. Hard to believe a modern cars wheels can’t handle a bit of kerb rash without self destructing. It’s been a battle for sure. Just want some accountability. We had been happy mostly with it and were even thinking if they brung Denza to Oz that we’d try one next. But they’ve lost us as customers over this fiasco.

Hard when resale is nil and it’s a novated lease. Don’t really want to eat $15-20k just to get rid of it. But counting down the days til the lease is up and back to more mainstream cars.

I dunno, just seems like you've already made up your mind that its a shit car so why fight it.

Yeah performance, I didn't even have to mention drive shafts just let them look at it and that's what they came too.
Honestly if your wheels are infact that badly buckled its possible.
Surly they can swap a wheel from a loan car to rule it out?
Does your car do it at all speeds or mainly high speeds or ?

Nah you’re jumping to conclusions. My post has mainly spoken about service. I did say I question the quality, but only in respect to the rattling areas. Otherwise, I love the car. I’ve had it for 13 months, and it still turns heads
The good thing about Australian consumer law is that we have rights. If I have issues I can still question them and possible get them resolved. Just because there’s a couple issues doesn’t automatically mean that I hate it

I’ve found videos of teslas Having the same issue and being able to be fixed

Unfortunately I tried my best, but unlike the Tesla, I wasn’t able to open the box to try and fix it myself, only got half way in…
My plan now is to show BYD these pics so they can open it and tape it all in
