Battery loss over night

Techbotfarm | 2025-10-29 22:32 | 4 views

It might be a coincidence, but since the app allowed remote scheduling for car charging, my seal has been losing battery after it stops charging. Charging stopped at 1pm at 69%. This morning the battery was at 65%. This battery loss is becoming more consistent. Has anyone else experienced this?

Perhaps it's cell balancing.Percentage is an estimate only and after balancing it may report a different figure. Charge it to 100% and track it down.

I'd think possibly parasitic loss from the car systems being "on" while it senses the charger plugged in.

How often do you charge to 100%

Usually gradually builds over a couple of days. We've just moved to Amber so I'm being more particular on how long I charge the car and at what time of the day. We've had a few cloudy days but we'll get it to 100 and see what happens.

Yea I'm just wondering if it's a reporting issue more than a battery issue. LFPs rely on the 100% point to measure charge and the longer between full charges the more inaccurate it gets.

I wondered that too. It definitely seems to be since the car software update and the app update.
