Why have I not noticed this in 18 months?!?
I dont get it.
They put “Break” instead of “Brake”
Oh right, never noticed.

Yes, this isn’t even just a Chinese car problem. Includes Italian, German and French cars too. Labels, dash in foreign languages.
They also have a graphic with the correct spelling which comes up if you try to start the car without depressing the brake pedal. This one is wrong, and it's not even like the other version is also wrong, or that this one doesn't already have the correct spelling of brake on the screen at the same time. Just really odd.
I'm pretty sure that this is actually the update to it too, it used to say 'retard' I'm not joking when I say that either, it did actually say that.
Regenerative braking modes : NORMAL / HIGH / LARGER
I vaguely remember something about that, as the literal translation meant retard instead of to slow down or something? Like how you retard or advance timing on an engine?
the regen brake is technically a brake retarder. So the use of the word 'retard' is technically correct, we just don't use it because...well you know lol
A sign of how important our market is to them. Perhaps a sign of attention to detail in other areas.
We still use it in heavy equipment etc. They have a retard pedal where the clutch would be. And often one in the drivers seat too.
Thsts french for delayed.
