Yes it’s coming. The Atto has only just started getting there’s overseas, but nothing for Australia’s models. So I imagine our Seals are a far way off. Especially given our cars include the drivers cluster and hopefully HUD updates too
Oh if it became possible to see the navigation direction in the HUD that would be nice. 😊

I saw a post on the byd page that Ireland and the Netherlands have started receiving the update. It should be so far in future you could receive the update. My seal got the 1.4 update yesterday, but mine is only two weeks old so it could be a few days or weeks off.
Anyone else missing the PIN to drive function? I picked up my car in June and was hoping I'd get the ability to with this update.. nope. And this is the only OTA I've ever been prompted for.

Yep same. my 2025 Perf is still on 2501 (since i picked it up in July) so missing that function - even after this 1.4.1 update. Others with 2503 have pwd to drive.

My wife got the update message last night and installed it, but didn't take note of the upgrade details so I have no idea what it's done 😆 She is so helpful that kills me sometimes ♥️
I hope they fix the voice -> navigation integration while they're at it. This worked before 1.4
Is there any confirmation that the HUD is getting new elements added to it?
Got it a couple of days ago, just said something about SOC efficiency in the notes.

Agree. The HUD and its functionality could be a lot better. One might hope one day
100% given BYD were the one of the early Chinese entries, maybe they decided to play it safe on functionality - with the intent to expand it later. Why else have it have the functionality but limit it?
Maybe they read Reddit comments. 🤭🫣

This is from BYD chat conversation asking about Aussie software update. User: The software is available but somehow BYD is too slow releasing it OTA to the vehicles. This is becoming a joke of no updates whilst we know it exists BYD Response: OTA updates are region specific, the OTA that is released in the UK will differ from what is released in China and what will be released in Australia. We do not advise looking to other markets to estimate what the next OTA will look like as it will differ to suit our region and our vehicles
