What does this mean? 1900 kms and I haven’t had a service. How immediate?

Idk exactly but the service people told me to come in after 3 months or 3k kms. This message showed up exactly 3 months later, and I serviced the car 2 weeks after.

Thanks. I got told I could come in for a complementary service at the dealership at 1000km but it sounded like more of “how are you finding it” than any type of real service. I’ve had the car less than 2 months.

I'm pretty sure it's complementary, but necessary.

I'd be getting that 'service' done so they can't try and use you missing it to weasel out on any future warranty repairs, should you need them.

Yeah agreed. I’ve emailed BYD for further instructions such as where should I be booking this service at.

Just the nearest BYD service centre - but call the centre directly, don't use the BYD website (not all centres use the website system🙄)

Ah thanks!

Service Centres are usually in thier website. What country are you in? In Australia most MyCar Tyre & Auto can do the service, but you book in via the byd website. Edit. Missed this was in Aus byd group.

If you have the app, the Service section should have details of your local service centres

Thanks. The app is not as up to date as the website with regard to service centres. Nevertheless, BYD customer support have acknowledged my email inquiry and I’m awaiting their reply.
