AC Fan noise

Hi folks - I love my Seal and had it for over 12 months. I have two issues, one only annoying. Is it just me, or is the fan excessively noisy? Has anyone been able to do anything about it? The second issue is that whenever you are on a call (using CarPlay) and you hit the menu button on the steering wheel, the call drops. Am I alone in this? Many thanks

I have also experienced noisy fans and wasn’t sure if it was normal or not on the Seal or other cars. It can also be rather slow to cool down the car when the outside temperature is extremely hot. If the wind is cool, rolling down the car windows can be helpful on a hot day to cool down the car. Otherwise you have to deal with the fact that the fan is going to be loud. As for the call hanging up, I also sometimes forget that the menu button will hang up the call so it can be a bit annoying. It can’t be helped though as it is the way it was programmed to function.

I’ve been wondering about the fan, is it excessively noisy or are just used to it being muffled by an internal combustion engine?

I think we are used to engine noise suppressing fan noise. The menu button is shown in HUD to end the phone call, so this is meant to be like this... I am annoyed by this "crackling sound" the fan system is making, sounds like someone throwing sand on the windshield from time to time - i dont know how to solve this issue...

Fan is loud yes, service centre claims normal operating condition. For question 2 , look at the display when you are on a call- it indicates press menu to cut call 😂. So yes it does cut your call.

Quick one on the fan. My aircon was taking a while to cool the car down before I drove or if I jumped in it. I live in QLD Australia so it's hotter than normal but jumping in our 2nd car which is ICE the aircon is good within seconds. Took it for the 5k service and told them. They checked and said it was set to 6 degrees above the norm for base line. Adjusted it and now more like a ICE car with the aircon. Any issues check it out
