AC controls locked/frozen

Have you tried adjusting it all the ways available? 3 finger swipe, drivers screen, byd voice, fan/auto on/off buttons near gear stick? Try reset the infotainment (hold down volume dial)

Is the air purification turned on? Seen others report similar issues with the setting on.

tried rebooting infotainment, tried resetting all settings to default, tried with, purifier on AND off, tried messing with the app (app allows you to change temp only) I believe this is a software glitch caused by frequently pre-cooling the car and then getting in and driving it and changing th AC settings again while driving before the pre-cooling tiner has finished.

I fixed it. I turned the "quick purification" on. But all my settings have now been reset because I was resetting everything yesterday to try to fix the AC. Also still on very old firmware, cant do 3 finger swipe, etc, asked them specifically to do a software update at my 5000km (the 3 finger swipe update was out at the time) and they smiled and told me they did it but when I got in it was still the old firmware. I think the service and software leave a lot to be desired but for the price I am quite happy.

I had this issue recently and also found after the purification it would readjust and allow me to change things. Drove me mental trying to work out how to fix it though

I've got your problem, how did you force the quick purification?
