Connecting my Android Auto Phone to My BYD Seal

I have had my BYD Seal for just over a year now but, unlike with my previous electric car (an MG ZS EV) where it was very simple to do, I have never been able to connect my Android phone to the car - other than via a Bluetooth connection for making and receiving phone calls. I want to deploy Android Auto, mainly for its superior SatNav capability but, as I say, I have been unable to do this. The latest update to the car's operating system, a month or so ago, at first looked as though it might help. A new screen appeared, which I am attaching a photo of. You will se that there is an Apple Car Play icon on furthest left of the lower row. This presumably facilitates the connection of an iPhone but, of course, does nothing to help the owner of an Android phone. There is no equivalent Android Auto icon. I wonder why BYD have done this, bearing in mind, worldwide, there are more Android phones than Apple phones! Has anyone succeeded in connecting an Android phone to a 2024 Seal Design, thereby facilitating Android Auto and, if so, could they offer any help to me? Automotive Industry

Have you tried looking at the second page of applications? It might be there. Swipe right on the page on the picture. What is the model of your Android phone ?

Thank you very much for your response. Your suggestion has indeed solved the problem. You actually need to swipe left, not right but obviously I did try both. However, I have to criticise BYD here. The indication that there is indeed a second page of applications is by no means obvious or clear and, why would you put the Apple phone and the Android phone icons on different pages, when they are both essentially doing the same thing for different phones. There is space on either page for them to have been put side by side! Anyway, thanks again - now sorted.
