BMS in Service alert

Hey Team, Just a quick query if anyone knows what the above "BMS in Service" might mean? I have looked through the manual and can't seem to find anything For context - I took my Seal Dynamic out today for a little drive. Adelaide to Kingston S.E. a distance of 293km. The initial plan was to stop at Meningie (146km from Adelaide) and then probably head home. The Meningie chargers weren't working so I went on to Kingston SE. Had about 12% charge in the battery when I pulled into the Kingston SE RAA charger. Plugged in, went and grabbed some lunch and came back to the car, waited about 15mins for it to finish and the next time I parked when I went to grab a coffee for the trip back I saw the "BMS in service" alert when I turned the car off. The range had also dropped by about 40-50km from the last time I did a full charge which was last week. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated Gloomy

Battery management system. Balances energy in the batteries.

I understand that, just haven't seen the message before in 7,500kms. And I just topped off for the week ahead and Im still 30km's range down from where I was last week which only happened after yesterdays message popped up.

It doesn't come on very often. Just now and then to recalibrate things. So, it looks like it's giving a better estimate on the range now whereas before it was a more ballpark figure.

Thank you. Sucks to have the range go up by 7kms one week and then lose 30kms the next but what else can you do

Do you have the range set to dynamic, as then it's doing it based on previous usage, well as far as I know.

The range is set to dynamic, put it on standard and it went even lower

That's a bit odd. The only other thing I can think of, if you haven't done it is the <10 to 100% charge in one go. LFP battery due to voltage needs this more than NMC. BMS may have lost track.

Its been about 3 months since I last did one, so I guess that's the next step

Finally got to do a calibration charge this morning. All back to normal 👍
