CarPlay stopped working

We’ve had our Seal since August and wireless CarPlay has worked well with our iPhones 13. As recently as this afternoon it was perfect, but this evening neither my phone nor my wife’s will connect. We keep getting an accessories not supported error on our phones and an error on the car saying that it could not start CarPlay. Our software version is 13.1.33.2403010.1. Both phones running 18.1.1. I have tried disconnecting my phone and forgetting it as a Bluetooth device and also forgetting the BYD as a car play device. Previously when tapping the CarPlay icon on the infotainment system it would open a window allow us to select which phone to connect. now tapping it seems to do nothing. Anyone experience this? Any suggestions? Thanks.

Have you tried resetting the infotainment screen?

As suggested by Gloomy\_Story818, try holding down the Infotainment button in the centre consol, this should shut down infotainment system, then restart it. Also try updating your iphones to the latest version (18.2 I think). I had a similar issue with Android auto and carplay and the reset worked (i.e. software or bluetooth glitch).
