if it doesnt work after 2 weeks email them. the support people can make it happen, but they won't bother until its been a while.

If not set up after a week call BYD customer care. It's also linked to the sim card being activated.
Yea I kept checking. Called a couple of times and eventually it just worked when checking.
I’ve got to say I’ve loved my Seal from day one, but there are a few things they should fix. Delivery, communication with regard to the app access and what to expect, and English translations of the in car communications. It will all work out but BYD is a non-English speaking company and Eagers apparently likes to pretend they don’t speak English too. I have no idea why Eagers thinks they should be paid for the terrible job they do in delivering these great cars to Australia. I almost think they want them to fail.
2 days and it’s working …. Not bad. Just need my 1k deposit back now
Back? If you bought it they take off your contract price, or should have.
If you are financing/leasing you get the deposit back, not sure how long it takes, but I would chase, may just a reminder.
Ah that makes sense for leasing I guess. With financing, they took off the amount financed for me.
I picked up my car on a Friday and by Monday the SD card in the car was activated and I could link it to the app.
