Got an update in the app for a digital key. I have a Samsung s24 ultra. I went to set it up and it takes me to samsung wallet every time, but I use Google wallet and I'm unable to set it up through that. Is there a setting where I can change the digital key from Samsung wallet to Google wallet?

Maybe try setting your default payment app to Google Wallet? It can be set in the NFC settings page for your phone.

I think you can only use Samsung wallet, same as me.

I did randomly get a Function match message come up today, last time that happened was when I installed the camera so wonder if something gets switched on?

Same issue here in Ireland. Have an S24 Ultra and digital key available in BYD app etc. Won't pair, says phone isn't supported. I think it's an issue with Samsung Wallet tbh.. *

I'm in the UK, but my dealer says that it's not officially enabled here yet, so won't work. As they understand it it shouldn't be enabled on our phones yet.

Yeah, I think you're right. I saw a list, and the only phones enabled in Ireland are pixel. I have no idea why..

id bet there is a default nfc handler setting somewhere, that you need to switch from samsung wallet to google wallet.

I don't think so google wallet support it in Samsung phones. I ended up with Samsung wallet after avoiding it for years

Not sure when this became available but another Aussie here confirming it’s now an option. Added ok on iPhone and was able to share to another person without the need to install the BYD APP or sign in. This will be very handy for those like myself who was waiting for the ‘two logins / accounts for one car’

I had weird experience where it wouldn't pair right on last step, then I had to enable it on car, and try again and it worked. Also last step for me it said place phone in tray so I was putting it in Charging tray, but it wanted it put on NFC armrest. Maybe language issues in explaining the steps is also not helpful. I have S22 Ultra in Aus.
