New purchase - time to OTA activation and update

That sounds a bit slack on dealer that gave it to you. They should have updated it for you, including all the firmware updates that aren't OTA. I'd assume you should just get 1.2 which should include anything from 1.1 Based on my 1.2 update...anyone's guess really on time. I got 9 days after others reported it so not sure if your car goes into some queue or the like. 1.0 is quite horrible tho, even 1.1 made life more bearable! Looks like you will go straight from that to where we are now which for me...is great!

Mine was took about the same time. I am assuming a queue as well based on the message you get when you choose to postpone the update (mine popped up as I was leaving for work, and I waited till I got home to update).

Try connecting the seal to wifi and then selecting the check software update. Mine didn’t prompt me and it wasn’t till I did the above that the latest update with wireless CarPlay came through

I'm so confused. My car is on v1.2. But in the software version is still 2401. Does not have wireless car play or 3 finger gestures. I don't know why it's not going to 2403.

BYD customer service advised me the update needs to be done at a service centre :(
