Low Battery

Richard Bailey | 2025-10-05 18:25 | 20 views

Hi all Recently when I start my SEAL U DMI I get a warning pop up, as shown in the attached pic. It isn't the vehicle charge or my phone charge level. Could it be the battery in the key fob? Please let me know. Cheers all Richard B

Hi Richard - really hoping you get a positive response with a solution as I've been getting the exact same message for a few weeks. Furthermore, today i tried turning on the a/c remotely in the app and got a message "Low SOC. A/C failed". It would seem to be related, and I wonder if you get that same message if you try to turn on A/C from the app? cheers Rob

Hi Rob Thanks for the reply. I'm relieved to hear that I'm not the only person experiencing this. I've just used the "fast cooling" option on the app and it appears to have activated without a problem. I have since changed the battery in the key fob and yet the low charge message is still appearing. If any BYD dealerships are reading this thread, can you please HELP!! Cheers Richard B

I recommend disconnecting all devices currently paired with your vehicle, restarting it and reconnecting them and see if it resolves the issue. Additionally, the image indicates that your BYD software is outdated. Upgrading to version 2.0.0 is advisable, as this may address software bugs that have been resolved in recent OTA updates.

Thanks BYDriver I've just had the latest OTA Update so hopefully that will sort my issue. If not, I'll try your suggestion and disconnect all connected devices and then reconnect. Cheers. Richard B
