Charging stop when I locked the car

harry_heir | 2024-05-08 09:48 | 3 views

I recently have encountered an issue with the charging process. When I lock the car while it is charging, the charging stops as soon as the screen turns off. Upon unlocking the car, the charging speed is displayed as 0 kW.

could you provide at least a little bit of info?

During the charging of my vehicle in the garage, upon locking the car, the charging process continues. However, when the odometer screen powers off after approximately 15 to 20 seconds, the charging stops. Upon checking after an hour and unlocking the car, the charging speed displayed was 00 kW, and the car shows the exact same percentage when I locked the car.

Have you checked it on the app  after few minutes and app shows no charging?

Normal. When you unlock the car it also unlocks the charge port. Before that it must reduce the current from the EVSE so the contacts in the charge port and or the onboard charger isn't damaged. When the car relocks the charge port also relocks and the charging commences again.

I have also experienced this problem but only on a public DC charger (Evie Network). Simply moved to another charger and it worked fine. If you having this problem on your home charger, probably needs to be checked with dealer.

Did you get to find out what is causing it? Just picked up my seal. I think it is doing the same thing as you described, on the stock granny charger.
