They really toned down the ADAS in the update.

Just picked up my Performance and I didn't need to switch anything off on the two hour drive home, so different from two test drives 4 months ago. The difference is like going from "HEY WATCH OUT!", to a gentle tap on the shoulder. Also the indicators seem to have a more subtle tick now, they were way too loud before. Also I can't hear the ambient pedestrian sound, maybe it's not working but I'm not upset about it. Also the salesperson said it doesn't have auto wipers but there's a setting in the software for it. Bright sunny day so dunno if it's supposed to work. Edit: Yep, auto wiper work!

Definitely have rain sensors. I have premium and has it. The update so much better. Also they toned down the speed warning, does go off so loud and not continuously. It also used to ho off even 1km over, but gives you some grace period now. I still turn it off, as it picks up random speeds, or stays at 10km even coming out of car parks etc.

Totally agree. Also picked up Performance last weekend and don’t find the ADAS an annoyance at all. Despite quite a few reviews also saying the lane keeping ‘bounces around’, I’ve found it to work well on the appropriate roads. Definitely has auto wipers….one click up on wiper stalk.

I've had my Seal a couple of weeks. No issues with lane assist The one that I have to turn off every start is Front Cross Traffic Braking FCTB. On two small roundabouts near my house, it has been aggressively braking in ridiculous scenarios, I'm talking about stopping for cars 10-20mts before they even enter the roundabout. One time I was so stuck by it braking that I had a line of people behind me tooting. I don't think the system is registering the small roundabout and processing it like you're pulling out into main road traffic. I've got the steps down pat so I can 9/10 turn it off before android auto starts and I'm on my way. I love the car but that braking is anxiety inducing 2401 by the way

The pedestrian sound is really toned down too but still on. If you wind the windows down when you're parked in a garage and use the 'test' button in the settings you can hear it properly. I am so tempted to turn it to 'Chinese ice cream truck' mode.

It's the alternative sounds pack - plays a little tune when you're driving to warn pedestrians. Unfortunately it also changes the indicator noise to something I didn't like.
