Another option for Apps

Saw this video for Carlinkit from Sky Perspective as an option of using your apps without messing around downgrading version of BYD, just putting here in case of interest to others. Have yet to order, but think I will. https://youtu.be/3zxWjR0juhU?si=OFAasxsvv1I1M4Q7

I think now in Androud auto you can access the aircon controls with swipe up. Maybe I'm wrong. You are right tho, but I just think better than hacking around, and I guess think of it more as auxiliary apps that aren't to do with your car and use when parked up or waiting charging etc? Guess benefit of this is Android Auto stops a lot of apps being added. This doesn't? Also for me as Android phone user, I can still use Android Auto and have this as my "Apple Car play" option, which is running full Android. Options is the joy of BYD over Tesla! One other thing I noticed since last update. My Android auto will launch on start of car, which also kicks in waze straight away. I then close back to BYD, but while driving I still get the waze voice speed camera warning coming through, even if I have the inbuilt navigation open and running. Weird bug that's kinda useful

He mentions the swipe up to access AC still works further in video. Rest of settings you'd have to switch back. If you don't have the latest OTA update tho, you can't do the floating AC controls I don't think
