Hello fellow Seal enthusiasts, Has anyone had experience with the trade-in service when buying their BYD? A rep from our local dealer stated that a maximum payment of $7000 is available for tradeins and won't require a roadworthy. Has anyone else received the same info or can enlighten me to their trade in experience? Ta

I was quoted 23,000 from the BYD recommended car trader for my current car. I ignored it and listed it privately and another dealer offered 25,000 with no RWC required. The $7,000 limit doesn’t sound right.

I also suggest going private, yes it is a bit more hassle but you get a better price than the trade-ins.

First I've heard of a roadworthy requirement for a trade-in. They bought my car for 18k, no idea where that 7k comes from.
