Did you receive an email to apply for it?

yeah I received that email about a week after pick up

Email came within 2-3 day of delivery. I filled it out but hadn’t seen anything for 2-3 weeks, followed up, turns out my application was stuck cause the statement I sent through didn’t have letterhead, sent in proper one and got cashback within 2 days after that.

I got my form 1.5 weeks after, submitted but still waiting. I am also still waiting for my app to be activated and it’s been 2.5 weeks

Seems like a big variation. Got the app activation 2 days later and have heard some people got theirs before they took delivery. So far a week in and no cash back email...

Filled in paperwork with the dealer at pick up (late Jan) and had rebate in 2 weeks.

A few weeks to get the form, a few weeks to receive the cash back.

Took delivery of our car on 24 December, recieved the email to complete the cash back form on 7 January, and received the cash back in our bank account on 13 January.

I had an issue with the statement as well. Updated my info and statement on Monday, still waiting for cash back. Also waiting for my trade in cash to be deposited. Picked up the car Jan 24

I received my email on the 4/2/2026 Entered my bank account 10/02/2026

Was going to ask the exact same question. We ordered ours last November (Atto3) and took delivery earlier this week. Do if I understand it correctly I should get an email within the next week? Thanks

Got the cashback email a day after taking delivery. Didn’t have time to get to it until the following Friday, and after checking bank accounts a week later noticed the cashback had been processed on the Monday. It may have been faster for me as I had an order for some accessories (mat and boot liner) that I ended up cancelling as they weren't in stock for the foreseeable future. To get a refund they had asked me to send in banking details which was processed at the same time.

I finally have mine done and it was a mission! I logged it via a phone call and an email then they had the manager of my local byd call me to come in and he ended up just taking photos and sending it back to them. It had finally been activated at late today

Picked up shark on 30.1, got the email 3.2 and got the cashback 11.2, all happened pretty quick I was impressed.

3 weeks

It will be 3 weeks tomorrow and I still haven't received a form from BYD for the cash back. I haven't even had my deposit refunded - I paid the full amount on the lease - they didn't reduce it by the deposit amount - they said it was processed 19 days ago but still nothing in the account. I also haven't had my app enabled for the car.

Have you contacted them? Turns out even though I signed the lease in January, I was signed up for the "February Promotion" which made me illegible for the cashback (first I heard when I chased it up). This resulted in my lease company over paying and a difference of 2600 refunded to my account. Even though I was told the Feb promo was "above and beyond" the $3000 cashback "over $4000 in savings". The math ain't mathing.
