Hi All Does anyone know what the slot in the dashboard is for located next to the petrol cap release button
Well I think that officially it’s for the card that is issued in some countries to unlock and start the car, instead of the key, that thing on the drivers door mirror and the glove box top ! However in the UK we seem to only be able to unlock and start with either a smart watch or phone, iPhone or Android. So it can be used as a credit card holder or prepaid parking card or perhaps an id card! The choice is yours. I use it with a white BYD card issued with the keys upon purchase to keep the key handy but out of the way. Hope this helped. Happy driving. Autos & Vehicles
