Sealion 7 Australia - puddle lights under door or mirror?

It does have puddle lights. I don't know where they are exactly because I've never bothered to look, but I've noticed them when I open the door at night.

That's great, thank you. I went for a test drive but didn't think of looking at the time and couldn't find any mention anywhere in the brochures. Can't wait to get the performance AWD model. Hopefully the wait times for the Performance model aren't 3+ months.

The mirrors definitely have them and I have a feeling there’s some in the door as well.

Just checked and it has both, however the mirror seems to only be on when approaching/unlocking, when opening the door only the downward puddle light on the bottom of the door was lit. Reasonable brightness, I believe it's LED.

Yes puddle lights are on the door because you can buy custom projections for them (kind of lame haha but each to their own). What colour are you after? I’d just white then the wait won’t be long

Haven't decided on colour yet, it seems to be the hardest choice picking one. I seem to like the white, but then i also like the shark grey too. Would be awesome if they also offered a different coloure interior as well in addition to the standard black.

Also one other question, i read a lot of issues with DAB radio reception being weak or not working properly, whats everyones experience?

Can’t go wrong with white or shark grey. I got white myself due to availability plus it not being an extra $2k helps

I’ve only had it for a few weeks and I have noticed the audio on the DAB radio cuts off every so often. I’m not sure if this is normal or not as it’s the first time I have DAB on a car. 🤔

Yes, there are “welcome” lights on the mirror if you walk closer to the car. Even without unlocking the car. I guess it is to help you find your keys? And there are actual puddle lights under the door. At least on the front doors.

Thanks, hopefully there is some fix, would be interesting to hear any others experience with the radio so we can get a better understanding if there is an issue or no issue.

White is nice and cheap, shark grey is interesting, blue is sparkly and less common which is nice, black is classic and blends plastic trims well. There's no going wrong. Interior colour is only black but I've seen videos of grey interior which seem amazing (bright without the dilemma of true white)

Just picked up my White Premium yesterday, placed order last Friday. Less than a week from deposit to drive away. Same reasons… availability and saving a little money.

No issues with mine.

The two times I've opened DAB it's just blank - no feedback or options. I am rural though so probably not a good candidate.

There is plenty of stock on shore. Will be a fortnight at worst.
