Three pin plug?

albannach | 2025-06-22 18:41 | 32 views

I think the Seal U Dm-i charging cable doesn’t come with a household three pin plug option. If there an adapter for it that someone can recommend, or do I need to spend £100-200 on another cable? Thanks!

Well I can definitely confirm that mine didn’t come with a 13amp three pin plug charger, just the converter cable to run 13 amp items from the car along with the standard Type 2 charger cable for use at charging points. I bought a 3kW granny charger (£98.99) on Amazon, but it was on special at the time, along with a proper EV extension cable for £128.00 because I had three heavy duty 13 amp extension leads melt and this was despite being rated at 3.7kW I consider myself lucky they didn’t catch fire. I reckon £228.00 for the ability to charge safely and get 70 miles of range at a cost of under £3.00 was better than spending £1500.00 for a wall charger, good value I thought, but accept not everyone would agree. Never heard of or seen a three pin adapter but it would be a nice addition. Autos & Vehicles
