Instrument cluster OTA

Wondering if anyone has ever received an OTA that updated the UI on the instrument cluster, I have seen some minor updates of translation, but nothing major. BYD just launched the Song Plus 2027 in Brazil with Google Maps integrated on the instrument cluster and would be nice to receive such functionality on older models.

As for the new Brazillian Song Plus, it is equipped with Android Platform, as opposed to the AOSP (CMIIW) in the older global BYD models (Dolphin, Seal, Atto 3 etc.). So, it is very unlikely older models will get that update (not only that, but in my opinion also due to much weaker chipset in those older models).

How do you know that it runs Android Platform instead of AOSP?

Because it supports Google functionalities such as Google Assistant, Play Store, etc. out of the box. In AOSP, we need to install a revanced version of some apps such as Google Maps (as in my Seal).
