Should we just take your word for it or do you want to share the source with us?

Does any country besides China have BYD charging stations?

Kilgin 2026-03-05 16:41

Bring BYD charging stations to Dubai that will work with any car, I’m so tired of Tesla Supercharger exclusivity

Silenceisgrey 2026-03-05 17:17

Might be problematic getting anything into dubai lately...

ovidakovic 2026-03-05 18:31

In Europe they have the commitment to deploy a lot of them in the coming 2 years

300x 1MW chargers being installed in the UK by the end of the year

sween64 2026-03-05 21:49

The ones in the article are 1500 kW chargers.

DjKahun 2026-03-05 21:57

Maybe next year if we're lucky, China will always get the best tech first. The 1mw ones were only released last year. First we actually need to get the cars that support 1mw charging. I think the Denza Z9 GT is supposed to be the first one to come

“Pushing the boundaries of safety” 🤨

PitchPleasant338 2026-03-05 23:37

The charging cables are the new CCS3 standard.  They have an additional hose to supply liquid nitrogen to the car.

everardpark 2026-03-05 23:57

“mw” ?

DjKahun 2026-03-05 23:58

Short for megawatt, which is 1000kw

everardpark 2026-03-06 00:00

MW is abbreviation for Megawatt .

everardpark 2026-03-06 00:00

Do you mean kW ?

DjKahun 2026-03-06 00:01

If you want to be that pedantic then yes.. MW and kW to be exact 😂

What's the density on the blade 2s

Suntzu_AU 2026-03-06 00:29

Frankly this is a bigger deal than the Donut Labs Vaporware. This is real, it works, it's a massive upgrade and it's going to be rolled out very soon.

toughgamer2020 2026-03-06 00:52

What ppl didn't realize is that these cars have massively different battery sizes - yet they all ended up getting charged in similar amount of time, plus -30c charging didn't take much longer, all these point to one fact - they figured out how to do parallel charging to all battery cells evenly, so battery size is irrelevant in this case, no matter how large the battery is, it will be charged under 5 minutes to 70% and 9 to 97%. Honestly ICE car makers should be worried. They also apparently reduced the cost of blade II even further so they are equiping the low end cars with it too, all this is truly amazing and terrifying. In the meantime, other part of the world... nah let's not talk about that.

Where is the UK going to get a whole new power plant from?

CBlackstoneDresden 2026-03-06 04:20

Is this your biggest concern at the moment?

Kilgin 2026-03-06 06:24

Lol guilty, found myself doom scrolling and this comment was on my mind 🤣 stay safe everyone

Grievery 2026-03-06 08:01

I believe they use huge batteries in those stations that fill themselves at a more reasonable rate, where the actual car charging is pulled from locally. Because pulling a megawatt directly to the car from the grid would cause too many problems.

Blade Battery can charge rapidly from 20% to 97% in under 12 minutes, that's insane comparing to what already exist ! CBlackstoneDresden 2026-03-09 02:03

All the best!

mrhulaku 2026-03-10 23:42

can the battery "blade 1.0" be changed with the new "blade 2.0" for old cars ?
