How do you turn the radio on?

Am I missing something? When I first get into my Seal UDMi the radio is always off. The only way I have found to turn it on is by pressing the toggle switch on the right side of the steering wheel, this gets the radio to play but changes the station. The large DAB/RADIO icon on the centre screen does not activate the radio. If I stop the car and turn off, the radio is on when I restart. Anyone have an answer or do we all have the same issue? I got the radio to work ok by fiddling with the menus on the big screen in the middle. It brought up a fairly huge range of dab stations, settled on 1, it worked fine. The roller on the right hand steering wheel stem does seem to raise and lower the radio volume. I sat and played with it for half an hour whilst mrs gallops was in morrissons supermarket before i really got the hang of it.

Isn’t this fun. I’ve had mine just over a month and during that period was moaning to myself, well grumbling really, about the sound system not being very loud or very good, only to find I had been listening with it set to just one area of the cabin front left, who knew. In my defence it came that way. Only found the menu by accident and am now enjoying having my ear wax shaken out having set all the speakers to ‘cabin’ and cranked up the volume ‘Won’t Get Fooled Again’ as Pete Townsend wrote
