Main screen disappointment Seal U

I’ve got to say that the size of the screen is fine for me, as for the features displayed / available on it I haven’t had any real need to want more ! I did initially struggle with the lack of touch screen options on the car but within a couple of weeks using the voice activated system to do things suited me better. It works great and okay occasionally I call something by a word not recognised but in general it seems to learn very well and again, for me, I have grown quite fond of my conversations with the car, but then I drive on my own and I’m a sad old man, rather than searching for a specific symbol. Much easier to say ‘I’m hot’ and for the car to respond by turning up the climate control or ‘change the radio station’ or ‘turn on Spotify’ but then I like Alexa as well

I agree with the previous poster (I have a Seal, but screen is the same). Most of the menus look like they were designed primarily for portrait mode, which is why they look ‘empty’ in landscape. The Sat Nav in particular looks great (imo) in portrait. It’s a pity that CarPlay (and I think AA) don’t work in portrait mode. Some useful screen shortcuts: - swipe up from the bottom to see (and select from) all open windows - swipe down from the top to access shortcuts (which you can arrange to your preferred) - swipe in from the left or right of the screen (the equivalent of the ‘back’ button). I find this particularly useful.
