Whether it is better to buy BYD or hilux

Im looking for a double cab because the one i have right now(Hilux) has driven over 500K kms so while looking for new cabs i came across the SHARK 6. It was appealing cause it has lower price than any other double cab while having more feautures but I have a few questions 1:When they say the combined range is about 800km,what is actually happening? Does the battery and engine both work together through out the 800KM or does the engine do most of the work? 2:What would be the typical fuel consumption if we drove 800km with a full battery charge at the start with SOC to 25% 3:Is it better than other trucks if i am travelling atleast 1000km each week? 4:I have heard that the fuel consumption is 2L/100KM but many reviewers has said it is more than that. 5:Do we need a separate wall charger if we want to charge overnight(7 to 8 hrs) 6:What are the modes that are there? 7:How often do we need to service it? Im driving long distance often(over 1K per week),some people say there is no real difference between the Hilux fuel consumption and the Sharks.What is the real deal?
