BYD Sealion 6 stops charging

I’ve been having this weird issue. I put my car to charge last night. Opened the app to check this morning but realised it stopped charging at some point at night. But within a minute of opening the app it started charging again. This has happened about 4-5 times now. It’s really frustrating! And I’ve checked smart charging and all, I haven’t turned that On either. Anyone else had this issue?

Hi, had a similar issue with my sealion 6 using my energy zappi charger. I am light on details for you, but found issue was with charger and how frequently it polls for a connection. Quick setting change and has not reoccurred in 8 months. Maybe ask Gemini or similar for line by line instructions based on the charger type you have

Recently had interrupted charging problems with my Wallbox charger and ended up replacing a ribbon cable in the unit to solve it.

i believe the issue here is that when the zappi halts charging (because you are in eco+ mode and not producing surplus) the car eventually goes to sleep and never resumes charging until something triggers it to wake. remove/reinsert charger, unlock doors, check app.
