BYD 3.0 Updating coming?

So…I’m the proud owner of a BYD Seal Excellence in Polar White. Gotta say the shimmer in the paint looks mint in the sun…that is when we get it in the UK. My question is this though, I’ve seen that OTA 3.0 is out for the Sealion, do you guys think the same will be coming for the Seal and other BYD models too, or is there hardware limitations?

I don't think we can equate the software version between the various models.

I've been driving it for 3 months and i like it very much. It is a comfortable luxury suv for low price. I create reason and opportunity drive it more. :)

V2.1.1 is currently rolled out in Austria & Germany in batches. Some owners started getting it 2 days ago

Fair point, we’ll see. I’m loving the updates in 3.0 like ACP and Android Auto in the HUD

Have that in Ireland about 3 weeks now. Not a fan of the new speed limit signage in the HUD but other than that it's decent. Feb 2024 AWD Seal.

Just FYI. The 3.0.0 update broke for a lot of us. The OTA incremented but no updates were installed. Keep an eye on the other version numbers too.
